President Bill Clinton launched Ismail Merchant's new film, The Mystic Masseur, at New York's Paris Theatre in a gala benefit for the America India Foundation on Tuesday April 23rd.

Le Divorce

Le Divorce Underway in Paris

Production trailers have been thronging the streets of Paris in April for the shooting of Le Divorce, Merchant Ivory's new comedy starring Kate Hudson, Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Leslie Caron, Stockard Channing, Sam Waterston, and Matthew Modine. The other French stars include Romain Duris, Jean-Marc Barr, Melville Poupaud, and Thierry Lhermitte.

The Mystic Masseur is opening in May in the U.S. and late March in England. The U.S. debut will be distributed by ThinkFilms.

Le Divorce
Announcing the cast of Le Divorce

Kate Hudson, Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Stockard Channing, Matthew Modine, Sam Waterston, Leslie Caron and a host of other stars are set to begin shooting Merchant Ivory's new comedy Le Divorce in mid-March.
