Deauville Film Fest Sets Lineup of U.S. Indies

PARIS (Hollywood Reporter) - The 29th Deauville Festival of American Cinema (Sept. 5-14) on Wednesday unveiled its selection of independent U.S. movies in competition, as well as a diverse lineup of premieres, and tributes.

Veteran director James Ivory will receive a tribute and will be present for a screening of his latest opus, the Paris-set Fox Searchlight feature "Le Divorce," alongside stars Naomi Watts and Kate Hudson. The festival also will pay tribute to Ridley Scott, who will bring his latest film, Warner Bros. Pictures' "Matchstick Men," to Deauville as well as "Alien: Director's Cut."
